Alright, here's the latest crazy project I've come up with. I'm a bone fide shutterbug, which means I take pictures of everything, even if it's not really worthy of being posted on dA. And I'm also a Photoshop nut, and that means I use stock photos, many of them my own.

So I made a stock account to keep all my self-taken stock pictures organized. It's going to take forever for me to get everything up there, but it's there: ShadowedStock -

I have Photoshop CS3!! I am ECSTATIC! I have wanted it ever since I took a Photoshop class last year. Up till now, I've been using Photoshop Elements 2.0. That is to CS3 like a BMW Bug is to a Ford F250. Unfortunately, I'm also very short on time this school year, but I'll try and get some new stuff up.

That said, I've been gone for awhile - that means I have ~7,000 deviations and ~1,000 messages to go through here on dA. So if I comment on a super-old piece from your gallery, please, just bear with me here.

Backlash Update: I'm down to ~400 deviations and ~20 messages. So I'm getting there...slowly...


Right now, I'm thinking about making a stock account. Now that I have a higher-quality camera, I've been taking tons of pictures and making my own little "stock" supply on my computer. I don't know if I should post in on dA though; I don't know how much people need stock. And if I did make a stock account, it'd take away from my limited time here on this account. Just thought I'd toss that out there. Feedback is appreciated.

Well, as most of my watchers know, I have been away for the better part of three months because I overscheduled myself during the first half of the school year.



I came back to find a backlog of 2,000+ deviations in my Watch and 500+ messages. Thanks to some excess time that I now have (since several of my classes are over) I have manged to whittle those numbers down to ~400 messages and ~1,500 deviations.



And yes, I will look at every single one of those deviations. I watch you people for a reason.



On the other hand, I will not be thanking everyone for the favorites until I get rid of all my messages. I took one look at the list and gave up.

I have also discovered CLUBS!

I've been reviewing my gallery lately (), and I marvel at what I used to consider fit to be shown. Now, out of hundreds of works, experiments, or just plain products of boredom, only a chosen few make it on to dA. It seems that I have raised my standards. I think that's a good thing.



But what am I? A photographer? A fractal artist? A photomanipulator?



Now, completely without realizing it, I reached my 100th devation with Fire Trails.


I had been planning to do something special for my 100th submission, but I missed it. >< Oh well. But with exactly 100 devations, I can now tell you that my gallery consists of:

and 1% tutorials
